My Fair Lady

I've always loved Audrey Hepburn (i mean who doesn't??) , and lately I decided to watch some of her movies that I haven't seen before. When I was searching online for a list of movies this picture came up.

I have never really drawn a profile picture before so I thought I would try it. What I ended up doing was taking some paper that I had marbleized a long time ago and drawind the picture right on top of it so that the marbleization shows through. I think it turned out kinda cool and diferent :)

So here is how it turned out! The texture and stuff shows up really well if you zoom in on the picture

Jazz It Up!

I know, I know... I've been a little late getting around to the post for January =) but here is one of the things that I just recently finished. I am hoping to have it hung in a coffee shop downtown called Java Joe's!

This is a new mixed media style for me and can't wait to see what comes of it =) On the top left corner are some magazine adds that i cut into strips; The rest is just the paint on the canvas. I also used bubble wrap to get some of the texture in the middle behind the music notes.This photo is not the greatest; The colors are a little more vibrant and have more pop on the original!

Also i was thinking about adding the word "SOUL" across the top right corner of the canvas. Would that be a good addition or just too tacky??
